OpenGate Education is an alternative education organisation, with the ambition to grow nationally. We run provisions for young people who, for a period of time, need a different setting than the school they're on roll at, giving them the space and support to grow, rebuild and move forward, whatever's brought them to us.
All our leadership team have extensive experience in alternative education, and that experience sets the tone throughout each provision. We give our staff the trust and autonomy to make the right call for the young person in front of them, not just follow a script.

We work alongside schools, not instead of them
A placement with us usually runs in parallel with an ongoing relationship with the referring school. We're not a substitute for that relationship, we're a setting that supports it.
